Online Account Opening
Restrictions and limitations apply to opening deposits and funding methods. Online account opening applies to deposit accounts. Subject to credit approval. Must be 18 years of age. Must be a legal resident of the United States. Must have working device that meets required specifications. Not all products are available for all locations. Not all products are available through online account opening.
- Opening deposit is between $100 and $250
- Available funding methods include: Check, Wire, Internal Transfer from Centennial Bank account, External Transfer from non-Centennial Bank account and Credit/Debit Card.
- "Additional Offers" accepted during the online application process will be funded with a single transaction and subject to funding method maximum limits based on the combined minimum funding balance of all selected products. External transfers subject to $2,500 maximum. Credit/Debit card subject to $500 maximum.
Promotional Period: The CENTS To Win Prize Linked Savings Promotion Raffle (“Promotion”) begins on May 1, 2019 and ends April 30, 2020 (“Promotional Period”). The Promotion shall continue for subsequent twelve month periods from May 1 to April 30 (each subsequent period being a “Promotional Period”) thereafter until terminated by Centennial Bank in accordance with these “Official Rules”.
Automatic Entries: An eligible Promotion participant, as defined below, automatically receives entries based upon the following:
Weekly Prize Drawings: One (1) entry per primary account owner tax identification number with a CENTS To Win Personal Savings Account (“Qualifying Savings Account”); provided that all accounts of the primary account owner have a balance greater than $0 and the primary account holder is in good standing on all deposit accounts with, and obligations to, Centennial Bank at the time of weekly drawing and upon receipt of Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability claim form (the “Affidavit”) and proof of identity, age, and residency. If a participant has more than one Qualifying Savings Account enrolled in Promotion it will be limited to one entry based on the oldest account opened date.
Monthly Prize Drawings: One (1) entry will be issued for every $1 deposited provided that all accounts of the primary account owner have a balance greater than $0 and the primary account holder is in good standing on all deposit accounts with, and obligations to, Centennial Bank at the time of monthly drawing and upon receipt of the Affidavit and proof of identity, age, and residency. One (1) entry will be removed for every $1 withdrawn using the Last In First Out methodology (LIFO), i.e. the newest dated entries will be removed first. The total number of entries will be determined based on the current balance, reduced to the nearest whole dollar, on the last business day of the month in a Qualifying Savings Account. If any withdrawals take place after the closing period, but prior to the monthly drawing, the number of entries will be reduced by the amount withdrawn. The maximum number of entries allowed will be twenty five thousand (25,000) for any drawing period.
Annual Grand Prize Drawings: One (1) entry will be issued for every $1 deposited provided that all accounts of the primary account owner have a balance greater than $0 and the primary account holder is in good standing on all deposit accounts with, and obligations to, Centennial Bank at the time of annual drawing and upon receipt of the Affidavit and proof of identity, age, and residency. One (1) entry will be removed for every $1 withdrawn using the Last In First Out methodology (LIFO), i.e. the newest dated entries will be removed first. The total number of entries will be determined based on the current balance, reduced to the nearest whole dollar, on the last business day of the year for the promotional period in a Qualifying Savings Account. Automatic Entries will be recorded once the balance is calculated at month-end processing. Qualifying deposits/withdrawals must be received and posted by the end of the last business day in which we post transactions to your account at each month end. Automatic entries are only eligible to be selected from during the drawing period covered. For purposes of these Official Rules, a business day is defined as a Monday through Friday in which the bank is open and doing business, and a withdrawal is defined as any customer initiated, or bank initiated, debit transaction.
Entry Limit: The maximum number of entries allowed will be twenty five thousand (25,000) for the monthly and annual drawing periods.
Qualifying Savings Account: A participating primary owner account holder may have more than one (1) CENTS To Win Personal Savings Account. There is a minimum opening deposit of one hundred dollars ($100). Participants may make an unlimited number of deposits in the account, and maymake a limited number of withdrawals as outlined in the Truth in Savings disclosure received at the time of account opening or at the time of account conversion if an existing Personal Savings account holder converts their account to the CENTS To Win Personal Savings Account. If an existing Personal Savings Account is converted to a CENTS To Win Personal Savings Account the current balance, reduced to the nearest whole dollar, will be converted into entries within three (3) business days of conversion. This delay may result in entries not being acknowledged until the next drawing period.
Prize Eligibility: All participants must be individuals at least eighteen (18) years of age, the primary account holder, and be a legal resident of the state of Arkansas. Corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, associations, sole proprietorships, trust accounts, estate accounts, business and labor organizations, other public or private entities, officers, directors, and employees of Home BancShares Inc. and its subsidiaries are not eligible to receive Weekly, Monthly, or Annual Grand prizes in the drawing. If an officer, director, or employee of Home BancShares Inc. and its subsidiaries is a legal owner of a qualifying savings account, that account will no longer be qualified to participate. A participant is limited to winning one Weekly Prize per week. A participant is limited to winning one Monthly Prize per month. A participant is eligible to win both a Weekly and a Monthly Prize in the same drawing month.A participant is eligible to win both a Monthly and an Annual Grand Prize in the same drawing month. If the qualifying account is owned by more than one (1) person, the Prize will be awarded to the primary account holder only. Before receiving any prize, a participant must (A) confirm eligibility by verifying identity, age, and state of legal residency (which must be done by the participant providing a copy of (i) a utility bill for water, gas, electricity or land-line telephone for a physical address in Arkansas, (ii) mobile phone bill issued in the last 6 months mailed to a physical address in Arkansas or (iii) a State of Arkansas issued identification card or (iv) such other proof of residency reasonably acceptable to Centennial Bank) and (B) complete and sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability claim form (the “Affidavit”) provided by Centennial Bank and any other documentation requested by Centennial Bank and set forth in these Official Rules. The failure to provide the required documentation (including the Affidavit) within thirty (30) calendar days after the postmark date of the notification letter will result in forfeiture of the rights of the Prize. Customers must be in good standing on all deposit accounts with, and obligations to, Centennial Bank at the time of claiming the prize. If customer is not in good standing, Centennial Bank has the right to set-off any debt owed to them pursuant to the “Set-offs and Security Interest” as outlined in the Consumer Account Agreement provided at the time of new account opening. If an account holder is or becomes ineligible for the prize drawings, such person will continue to be the account holder but all entries will be cancelled and unenrolled from the Promotion and their CENTS To Win Personal Savings Account(s) will be converted to a regular Personal Savings Account.
Prizes: All Weekly, Monthly and Annual Grand Prizes will be paid by Centennial Bank. Subject to the participant meeting all requirements as set forth herein, the winnings will be deposited into the CENTS To Win Personal Savings Account that was drawn as the winning account within seven (7) business days of receipt of the Affidavit and verification of eligibility. Closing dates for each drawing will be the last business day of each week, the last business day of each month, and the last business day of the then current Promotional Year. Participants selected to win will be notified via email and US Postal Service mail within five (5) business days of the drawing. Prizes are non-transferrable. Prize winnings will be reported as income on an IRS 1099 form. You must return all required documentation as set forth herein within thirty (30) calendar days of the postmarked date of letter to the address as listed in the Affidavit. If the Affidavit and all required eligibility verification documentation has not been returned within the timeframe as set forth in these Official Rules you will forfeit your claim on the prize. Your winning qualifying account must remain active and open in order to receive prize. If your winning qualifying account is closed prior to the prize being deposited, you forfeit your claim on the prize.
Prize amounts are specifically provided as follows:
Weekly Prize Drawings:
- Each week, ten (10) entries will be randomly selected to win a twenty-five dollar ($25) cash prize. The total weekly prizes will not exceed $250. Weekly drawings will be held by the end of day each Friday for the previous business week. If any Friday falls on a Federal holiday in which Centennial Bank is closed, the weekly drawing will be held the business day following the Federal holiday.
Monthly Prize Drawings:
- Each month, fifty (50) entries will be randomly selected to win a twenty-five dollar ($25) cash prize, for a total not to exceed $1,250.
- Each month, ten (10) entries will be randomly selected to win a fifty dollar ($50) cash prize, for a total not to exceed $500.
- Each month, five (5) entries will be randomly selected to win a one hundred dollar ($100) cash prize, for a total not to exceed $500. Monthly drawings will be held on the 15th of each calendar month for the previous business month. If the 15th falls on a weekend or a Federal holiday in which Centennial Bank is closed, the monthly drawing will be held the business day.
Annual Grand Prize Drawing:
- At the end of the then current Promotional Period, one (1) entry will be randomly selected to win a ten thousand dollar ($10,000) cash prize. Annual drawings will be held on the 15th of the month following the last calendar day of the Promotional Period. If the 15th falls on a weekend or a Federal holiday in which Centennial Bank is closed, the monthly drawing will be held the business day.
Odds: The odds of winning are based upon the number of eligible entries received.
Each eligible entry shall have a chance of winning Weekly Prizes that is equal to that of all other entries in the Promotion. Each eligible entry shall have a chance of winning Monthly Prizes that is equal to that of all other entries in the Promotion. Each eligible entry shall have a chance of winning the Grand Prize that is equal to that of all other entries in the Promotion.
Decisions: By entering into the Promotion, participants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and to accept the decisions of Centennial Bank as final. Participants also agree to hold Centennial Bank and each of its officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents harmless from any and all liability arising from participation in the Promotion, or the acceptance of a prize. None of Centennial Bank’s officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents are responsible for any negligence, claims, liability, injury, property loss, or other damages of participants and/or winners arising from, or in connection with, acceptance of prizes awarded or participation in this Promotion. Centennial Bank reserves the right to disqualify participants who fail to follow these Official Rules or who make any misrepresentation relative to the Promotion and prize redemption. IN NO EVENT SHALL CENTENNIAL BANK BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, OR INDIRECT LOSS OR DAMAGE A PARTICIPANT MAY INCUR OR SUFFER IN ANY WAY RELATED TO, OR ARISING OUT OF, THIS PROMOTION.
Program Administration: The Promotion is administered by a third party unrelated to Centennial Bank, subject to these Official Rules.
Publicity: As a condition to receipt of a prize, each participant selected to win a prize must grant to Centennial Bank the absolute, unrestricted, transferable, irrevocable, perpetual right to use and/or license (i) to the participant’s name (including legal name, nickname, initials, or pseudonym), picture, photographs, likeliness, voice, biography, statement or material, along with any audio sound clips, video or film footage in which the participant is included (collectively “Content”) without further compensation, consideration or notice to the participant or any third party, and (ii) to reproduce, copy, modify, create derivative works from, display, transmit, broadcast, via all media now known or hereafter devised, the Content, either alone or in conjunction with any other material, in any form, format or embodiment, in Centennial Bank’s promotional campaigns, publicity events, advertisements or press releases related to the Promotion. This grant is a part of the Affidavit. Each participant selected to win will be notified directly via email and US Postal Service. Winners will be posted on our website, www.my100bank.com, and Facebook monthly once we receive signed Affidavit and verification of eligibility from winners to claim their prize.
Compliance with Law: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the participant and Centennial Bank in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the state of Arkansas, including Arkansas Code Annotated §23-47-209, without regard to its choice of law provisions. This Promotion is void where and to the extent that it is prohibited by law.
Resolution of Disputes: Except where prohibited by law, as a condition of participating in this Promotion, each participant agrees that any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Promotion, drawing, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by final and binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Refer to the Consumer Account Agreement provided at the time of account opening for detailed explanation of Arbitration Agreement.
Taxes: Each winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes and any expenses associated with the prize, unless otherwise indicated.
Termination: Centennial Bank may terminate or cancel the Promotion by providing not less than thirty (30) calendar days’ notice prior to the termination of the Promotion. If Centennial Bank should terminate or cancel the Promotion, all CENTS To Win Personal Savings Accounts will be converted to a regular Personal Savings Account and provided new disclosures.
Miscellaneous: The parties may agree to substitute prizes of equivalent value. The Parties disclaim any responsibility to notify participants of any aspect related to the conduct of the Promotion. Written copies of these Official Rules are available during normal business hours at any Centennial Bank branch location or on its website www.my100bank.com. These Official Rules may be updated or amended at any time. In the event of a conflict regarding the Official Rules of the Promotion, the most recent version posted on the website will be considered the definitive and controlling version.
If the CENTS To Win Personal Savings Account is converted to any other account type, or the status of the qualifying savings account becomes limited, dormant, frozen, or closed, all entries will be cancelled and removed from the Prize Linked Savings Promotion. You agree to notify the bank in writing, by phone, or in person if you wish to cancel your participation in the CENTS To Win Prize Linked Savings Promotion.
