Teresa Condas, a ten-year resident of Marathon,has been promoted to President of Centennial Bank, Florida. Teresa’s previous title was Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer. “Teresa’s experience and tenure contribute significantly to the strength of Centennial Bank,” said Dick Buckheim,Chairman of the Board - Florida. “Her 35 years of experience in banking and finance, her stellar academic achievements and strong demonstrated leadership abilities make Teresa the logical choice for this position. I watched Teresa move from consultant to senior executive, and believe she has the character, drive and management skills to take Centennial Bank to the next level in Florida.”
A native of the Northeast, Teresa and her husband, Lou, moved to Marathon a little more than ten years ago upon Lou’s retirement. Since the 1980’s, Teresa has served various financial institutions in Chief Operating Officer and senior management positions. In 2000, Teresa joined then-Marine Bank as an operations consultant, and over the course of the next ten years, Teresa’s contribution led to record growth both in bank assets as well as branch locations. Teresa is in the process of completing a multi-year program at the Graduate School of Banking, Wisconsin.
Centennial Bank has 12 branches in Florida, nine in the Keys and three on the Florida mainland – Marco Island, Charlotte Harbor and Punta Gorda. The Bank is part of Home BancShares, Inc.
