Name Change FAQs

Twin City Bank and Centennial National Bank united to form Centennial Bank. Though our name is different, you will see the same friendly faces and find the same dedicated, personalized service. With the name change, we have received a lot of questions. Click below to read answers to these frequently asked questions. Q.  How will the name change affect my FDIC coverage since I have funds at several of your Home BancShares banks?
A.  The FDIC has temporarily increased insured deposit coverage.  Call your personal banking representative to help you calculate changes that may occur.  Back to Top.


Q.  Will fees change?
A.  Some of our fees have changed to be uniform throughout our banking company.  Many of the fees have decreased. Fees that have increased are those that a customer can control, such as overdraft and insufficient fees. Banks charge fees to offset the cost of performing certain transactions. Q.  How are rates determined?
A.  Rates are set in each market that Centennial Bank operates, just as they are now.  They are driven by the market place. Back to Top.


Q. Will the numbers on my bank accounts, money market, savings account, CD accounts stay the same?                                                                                      
A.  Yes.  The majority of all account numbers will remain the same.  Those with duplicate accounts will be contacted in person and the change made for them. Back to Top.


Q.  I have my social security directly deposited.  Will I have to change this?       
A.  No.  All drafts and auto debits will remain intact. Back to Top.


Q.  Will customer PIN numbers and passwords still work after the transition?     
A.   All PIN numbers and passwords will continue to work. Back to Top.


Q.  If I have a debit card or credit card with the bank logo, do I need to come into my branch to change that?                                                                                   
A.  In Arkansas, all your cards will continue to work.  When they expire, you will receive new cards with the new logo on them.  Customers in Florida will receive new debit cards. Back to Top.


Q.  I have checks with your bank logo, can I still use them?                                 
A.  Yes.  Your checks will continue to work properly.  When it’s time for you to reorder, your new checks will include the new name and logo. Back to Top.


Q.  I have a loan with your bank, who should I make the check out to now?                                        
A.  Our name is Centennial Bank, however, we will still accept checks made out to any of our previous names. Back to Top.


Q.  When I call, the customer care center answers.  Why?                                  
A.  Our customer call center was created to handle our large call volume and give our in-branch customers the opportunity to be served without the banker being interrupted.  You can still dial your personal banker direct and speak with them if necessary. Back to Top.


Q.  Will my internet banking change?
A.  There are no changes to internet banking in Arkansas.  Our Florida customers will have an upgraded system that now includes real time information. Back to Top.
